News 19: Review of the 1st General Assembly of SAC Nepal

The First General Assembly of Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) was successfully held under the chairmanship of President Mr. Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary. The event brought together 36 participants, including executive members, local representatives, and well-wishers, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey.

The Chief Guest of the program was Ward Chairperson Mr. Md. Hamid Miya, who praised the organization’s efforts in promoting the rights and dignity of senior citizens. During the program, ten senior citizens were honored with certificates and clothing in recognition of their lifelong contributions to family and society — coinciding with the celebration of the 35th International Senior Citizens Day 2025.

Founder and Executive Director Mr. Ramjee Sah highlighted the organization’s vision, mission, and future direction. He emphasized SAC Nepal’s continued commitment to awareness, advocacy, and empowerment of older adults through community engagement, education, and policy advocacy.

News 18: 13th SAC Nepal Campaign Held Successfully in Siraha

 July 11, 2025 — The 13th campaign of Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) was successfully conducted on July 9 and 10, 2025, with active participation from the organization’s leadership and community members. The two-day event focused on promoting elderly rights, health awareness, and community support for senior citizens.

The campaign saw the direct involvement of SAC Nepal’s Executive Director Ramjee Sah, Chairperson Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary, Vice Chairperson Urmila Kumari Sah, senior member Bhagwani Chaudhary, and active contributions from Sarswati Saday along with other executive members.

Various awareness sessions, health checkups, and donation activities were carried out during the campaign, emphasizing SAC Nepal’s ongoing commitment to building an age-friendly society. News 17: Donor Recognition Program by SAC Nepal Held in Bhawanipur, Siraha

Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) successfully organized a Donor Recognition Program on June 22, 2025, at Bhawanipur, Siraha. The event was chaired by SAC Nepal’s Chairperson Mr. Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary and highlighted the organization’s ongoing commitment to honor and appreciate the valuable contributions made by its generous donors.

The program’s main presentation was delivered by Executive Director Mr. Ramjee Sah, who shed light on SAC Nepal’s journey, recent achievements, and the transformative impact made possible through donor support. He emphasized the role of community partnership in promoting the dignity, health, and rights of senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) successfully conducted its 12th Monthly Door-to-Door Walking Fund Collection Campaign on June 8 and 9, 2025. Aimed at raising funds to support the organization’s elderly care programs, the campaign saw active participation from 240 households across local communities.

Volunteers engaged directly with residents, spreading awareness about the challenges faced by older adults and encouraging support for SAC Nepal’s mission to promote dignity, health, and well-being among the aging population.

SAC Nepal successfully organized its 11th Monthly Fund Collection Campaign  on May 8 and 9, 2025, at Danagadhimai Municipality, Bhawanipur, Siraha. The campaign was part of SAC Nepal’s ongoing initiative to mobilize local resources and strengthen community support for its programs focusing on aging, health, and social inclusion.

A total of 265 individuals from the community generously contributed during the two-day campaign, showcasing strong community engagement and solidarity towards SAC Nepal’s mission. The collected funds will be utilized to support ongoing activities, including senior citizen welfare programs, health campaigns, and awareness initiatives.

The campaign was led with active involvement from SAC Nepal’s Executive Director Ramjee Sah, President Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary, and other executive members. Their leadership and the dedicated efforts of volunteers made the event highly successful.

News 14: Free Naturopathy Health Campaign

A two-day Free Naturopathy Health Campaign was successfully organized on Baisakh 22 and 23, 2082, at Bhawani Integrated Development Center, Bhawanipur, Siraha. The campaign aimed to promote natural healing methods, preventive healthcare, and wellness practices among the senior citizens of the community.

A total of 139 senior citizens benefited from free health check-ups, naturopathic consultations, yoga therapy sessions, and lifestyle counseling. Participants received personalized advice on natural treatments, diet, and healthy living practices.

This campaign was made possible with the direct support of SAC Nepal, particularly through the leadership of Executive Director Ramjee Sah, President Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary, and the active involvement of other executive members. The campaign aimed to promote the health and well-being of elderly citizens through accessible and preventive health checkups.

The initiative was led by Executive Director Ramjee Sah, with dedicated support in record-keeping and beneficiary tracking provided by Kapleswar Sah and Gyandip Chaudhary. Their meticulous coordination ensured smooth operation and accurate data collection throughout the two-day campaign.

A total of 84 senior citizens benefitted from the health screenings. The campaign, aimed at raising funds to support programs for the elderly, saw impressive participation, with 326 households actively engaged across multiple communities.

Volunteers not only collected contributions but also raised awareness about the challenges faced by aging individuals, emphasizing the importance of community solidarity in addressing these issues.

Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) successfully conducted its Monthly Door-to-Door Walking Fund Collection Campaign from September 12 to 15, 2024. Volunteers visited households across various communities, raising awareness about the needs of older adults and collecting funds to support SAC Nepal’s initiatives. The campaign engaged 184 households in total.

Chairperson Dipesh Kumar Chaudhary expressed gratitude for the community’s response, saying, “Together, we are building a brighter future for our seniors.” The funds raised will contribute to initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, social inclusion, and overall well-being for older adults.

बुढ्यौली बचाऊ अभियान नेपाल (SAC नेपाल) ले कार्यकारी निर्देशक रामजी साहको प्रत्यक्ष सहयोगमा जुलाई ९ र १०, २०२४ मा आफ्नो मासिक घर-ढोका हिड्ने कोष संकलन अभियान सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरेको छ। संस्थाको वृद्ध हेरचाह कार्यक्रमहरूलाई समर्थन गर्न कोष जुटाउनमा केन्द्रित पहलले समुदाय भित्र 168 घरपरिवारहरूलाई संलग्न गराउँदै बलियो सहभागिता देख्यो।

SAC नेपालका स्वयंसेवकहरू र सदस्यहरूले विभिन्न छिमेकमा घर-परिवारमा पुगेर वृद्धवृद्धाहरूले सामना गर्ने चुनौतीहरूबारे चेतना फैलाउँदै र संस्थाको मिशनलाई अगाडि बढाउन योगदानलाई प्रोत्साहन दिए। अभियानले स्वास्थ्य सेवामा पहुँच, सामाजिक समावेशीकरण, र ज्येष्ठ नागरिकको समग्र कल्याण जस्ता मुद्दाहरूलाई सम्बोधन गर्न सामुदायिक एकताको महत्त्वलाई जोड दिएको थियो।

News 1. Aging Graceful Project: Orientation and Wheelchair Distribution Program – Summary Report

June 22, 2024, Nepal:

Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) proudly conducted the Aging Graceful Project: Orientation and Wheelchair Distribution Program on June 22, 2024, under the leadership of its Founder and Executive Director, Ramjee Sah. The event, designed to empower and support older adults, was a milestone in SAC Nepal’s mission to ensure dignity and inclusivity for the aging population.

Ramjee Sah presented the findings of the aging survey conducted in Dhangadhimai NP-2 Bhawanipur, Siraha, Nepal, sharing valuable insights on the region’s aging population. During the session, he also clarified the concept of the Aging Graceful Project and discussed strategies for raising funds for its future launch. The presentation was attended by nearly 100 political leaders and senior citizens, all of whom actively participated in the discussion, showing strong interest in the project’s goals of improving the lives of older adults.

The program featured an orientation session aimed at raising awareness about healthy aging practices, mental well-being, and the rights of older adults. बुढ्यौली सुन्दर परियोजना: अभिमुखीकरण तथा ह्वीलचेयर वितरण कार्यक्रम

बुढ्यौली बचाऊ अभियान नेपाल (SAC नेपाल) ले यसका संस्थापक तथा कार्यकारी निर्देशक रामजी साहको नेतृत्वमा जुन २२, २०२४ मा बुढ्यौली सुन्दर परियोजना: अभिमुखीकरण र ह्वीलचेयर वितरण कार्यक्रम गर्वका साथ सञ्चालन गर्यो। वृद्धवृद्धाहरूलाई सशक्तिकरण र समर्थन गर्न डिजाइन गरिएको यो कार्यक्रम SAC नेपालको बूढो जनसंख्याको गरिमा र समावेशीता सुनिश्चित गर्ने लक्ष्यमा कोसेढुङ्गा थियो।

रामजी साहले धनगढीमाई NP–२ भवानीपुर, नेपाल, सिरहामा गरिएको बुढ्यौली सर्वेक्षणको नतिजा प्रस्तुत गर्दै यस क्षेत्रको बुढ्यौली जनसङ्ख्याको बारेमा बहुमूल्य अन्तर्दृष्टि साझा गर्नुभयो। सत्रको क्रममा, उनले एजिङ ग्रेसफुल प्रोजेक्टको अवधारणालाई पनि स्पष्ट गरे र यसको भविष्यको सुरुवातको लागि कोष जुटाउने रणनीतिहरूबारे छलफल गरे। प्रस्तुतिमा झन्डै १०० राजनीतिक नेता र ज्येष्ठ नागरिकको सहभागिता थियो, जसमा सबैले सक्रिय रूपमा छलफलमा भाग लिएका थिए, जसले वृद्ध वयस्कहरूको जीवन सुधार गर्ने परियोजनाको लक्ष्यहरूमा बलियो चासो देखाएका थिए।

कार्यक्रममा स्वस्थ बुढ्यौली अभ्यास, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य, र वृद्ध वयस्कहरूको अधिकारको बारेमा चेतना जगाउने उद्देश्यले एक अभिमुखीकरण सत्र राखिएको थियो। विज्ञहरूले पछिका वर्षहरूमा शारीरिक र भावनात्मक स्वास्थ्य कायम राख्न, वरिष्ठहरूलाई सम्मान र हेरचाह गर्ने संस्कृतिलाई बढावा दिन बहुमूल्य अन्तर्दृष्टि प्रदान गरे।

कार्यक्रमको मुख्य आकर्षण गतिशीलता चुनौती भएका व्यक्तिहरूलाई ह्वीलचेयर वितरण थियो। उदार योगदान मार्फत प्रदान गरिएको ह्वीलचेयरले ज्येष्ठ नागरिकको जीवनस्तरमा सुधार ल्याउन SAC नेपालको प्रतिबद्धताको प्रतीक हो। लाभार्थीहरूले जीवन परिवर्तन गर्ने सहयोगको लागि हृदयदेखि कृतज्ञता व्यक्त गरे।

SAC नेपालले आगामी दिनमा यस्ता कार्यक्रमलाई थप विस्तार गर्दै लैजाने प्रतिबद्धता जनाएको छ।
