Why We Are?

How and why SAC Nepal was founded. The Save Aging Campaign Nepal (SAC Nepal) was founded on June 22, 2024, by Ramjee Sah, driven by his personal experiences with aging parents who faced challenges in accessing adequate healthcare, social support, and inclusion. Witnessing these struggles firsthand, Sah realized these were not isolated issues but common problems affecting many older adults across Nepal.

Determined to make a difference, Sah brought together a group of passionate and like-minded individuals to launch SAC Nepal. The organization’s primary goal is to raise awareness about aging, advocate for senior rights, and promote healthy, dignified lives for the elderly.

SAC Nepal was established as a voice for older adults, empowering them through education, community support, and advocacy for policies that address their unique needs. By fostering intergenerational collaboration and focusing on inclusion, the campaign works tirelessly to build a society where aging is celebrated and supported.
